David Armano has a great post over on Permission to Create. The moral of the story is that if you start to get in that rut, or are locked into a certain cycle in your work, begin to explore and test your creativity. There are so many tools and opportunities out there for us to continually experiment in our personal or down time. This is a new era of exploration and reinvention. The skies the limit. David has a nice closing statement, "If you're bored or in danger of losing your creative edge—don't ask for permission to create. Just do it."
There's no excuses folks. You don't need permission. Explore and Create.
